DRAW CLOSER TO JESUS CHRIST

925 million undernourished people in the world

According to estimates by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) there were 925 million undernourished people in the world in 2010. This was a decrease from an estimate of 1,023 million undernourished people in 2009. The same organization reports that there were 923 million malnourished people in the world in 2007, which in turn represented an increase of 80 million since 1990.

The Promise of the Father

Categories: Holy Spirit

the promise of the father

The Holy Spirit is that wonderful promise that God has given unto men and women of all ages. It is He the Holy Spirit that is here with us to help us live the Christian life in victory. He is here to teach us the word of God and His ways.

Never take it lightly what the Holy Spirit does in your life. He must become your best friend to truly know Him. Once you become dependent upon Him then you will begin to walk in victory as a believer. You learn that through the Holy Spirit you understand the word of God better. It is the Holy Spirit that teaches you everything you need to know about scriptures. Jesus said when He comes He will teach you everything that you need to know (John 14:26)

Those who ignore the Holy Spirit are like a sail boat without a sail. There is no direction as a Christian without the Holy Spirit. We must fellowship with Him daily and get to know Him as a helper.

If you would take the time and study about the Holy Spirit through scripture you will see how important Jesus made it sound to depend on God’s Spirit for your Christian walk. You cannot be strong as a Christian without the Holy Spirit. Those who ignore Him will live in bondage and lack in their walk with God.

Here are some of the benefits of knowing the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

  1. Wisdom (Acts 6:10)
  2. Knowledge of God’s word (John 14:26)
  3. Guidance (John 16:13)
  4. Power (Acts 1:8)
  5. Witness of Jesus (Acts 1:8)

You might be asking; how do I know the Holy Spirit as a friend and helper. Well, you must first understand that He is real and is on the earth for the believer. The Holy Spirit is here for us to help us, to guide us, to lead us and so much more. Once you understand this then began to talk with Him as you read the Bible. Ask Him to show you things in the word that you never seen before. You will be amazed at how your eyes will be open to amazing things in God’s word. (Psalms 119:18)

Keep this fellowship going day by day and ask the Lord to make you sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is where you become totally surrender to the will of the Holy Spirit. If you do these small steps you will find yourself walking with Jesus like never before. You will begin to experience victory like you never have before.

Never take God’s Spirit lightly like so many do today. That’s why some preachers minister the word with no power in their messages. No one gets healed, saved or delivered. When you allow the Holy Spirit to take over your life and guide you will begin to experience power, not only for your Christian walk but now you will have power to witness of Jesus Christ. When you pray for the sick expect them to be healed. When you bind the devil in someone expect that devil to come out in Jesus name.
